Membership/Registration

TRAINING

  • After the initial Evaluation/Screening, each "trainee" team (dog/handler) will attend 3 training sites for the PAT training process.
  • The trainings are supervised in a designated PAT facility.
  • A list of facilities is provided for selection.
  • Trainings MUST be completed without incident within the alloted time within 30 days of the evaluation/screening.

MEMBERSHIP

  • Trainee Teams (dog/handler) completing three (3) trainings without incident are then considered for PAT membership/registration.
  • Annual requirements are:
    • 10 "team" hours each Team (dog/handler) working in a PAT facility.
    • 1 special event attended by each Team (dog/handler)
    • 2 meetings attended by each member
    • Dues/fees where applicable

Please note: Each PAT Team, to maintain their certification/registration, will complete a reevaluation process after their initial screening evaluation every other year.
